It's not the 6TB which is impressive, it's the fact that its all SSD, no physical parts so it reads/writes much faster.
6TB isn't that expensive really. You could easily get it for under 500 USD :

i would've like to seen it do a massively detailed render on something.
did you see the fans on that thing? i reckon you'd be melting in that room because of the heat radiating off it.
And yeah lauli, who would use 6TB anyway?
but i guess it was just for fun/experiment

Pretty awesome thing, I must say. Just the fact that this thing eats up 2kW makes it rather expensive over time. Not to mention that this thing will surely overheat sooner or later. There's just one thing to do against it:

6 TB is the kind of thing you want for the epicness of it,
but you don't to gloat about.
Why wouldn't you want to gloat about it?
Who would want to over-compensate that badly and scream it to the
world?
That is still rediculously epic though
Blue Phoenix has a point to, I expect it to spontaneously combust,
when its Off!!1!
