Why crappy?
I think it's good enough. Just needs to have more frames and a nice effect (not just injury).
Also it should be a bit bigger.

Damn it...I have too look at the eyes, cuz' the rest is great
Give them a thicker outline, maybe put the left one a bit nearer the nose.
Also the mouth is positioned somewhat strange...

I agree with Simoneon on the first one it's good. About the second one - it's cool. The eyes aren't really weird, I think that drawing the eyes is always the hardest (at least for me it is). Do what Divisor said.

thats really quite good - well done Hacker. Oh yeah - about Woody's eyes, the three flicks on the end make them a bit feminine (yes I do notice those small details). Maybe without them would be slightly better?

There is only one thing I can pick out as negative:
You need a bigger contrast between shadow and highlight. Same goes for Bat.
Other than that, godd job :P
