Let a enemy stand at a place forever - jf8429 - 12-11-2009 How can i make a action in the stage mode to stop the enemies moving just stand at one point until i hit him he will wake up? RE: Let a enemy stand at a place forever - Ramond - 12-11-2009 You could give that enemy an extra frame with his "stopped" picture which has next: 0. Then, depending on what you want, either an attack that catches him to that "stopped" frame (itr kind 3 perhaps, I'll leave that to a specialist) or an "act: " in stage.dat that makes them already be "stopped" when spawned. Hitting them will cause them to go to the hurt frames so that will break the cycle. RE: Let a enemy stand at a place forever - MH-Razen - 12-11-2009 way to complicated. Make an extra frame called "stopped", this frame has state 3, hit_a/d_j are 0 and there`re no other inputs. THere`s a normal bdy in there- And as soon as he got hit he go to injured frmes, from those he go to normal frames... RE: Let a enemy stand at a place forever - Ramond - 12-11-2009 MH that's exactly what I said o.o RE: Let a enemy stand at a place forever - MH-Razen - 12-11-2009 not exactly: (itr kind 3 perhaps, I'll leave that to a specialist) -> there's no need for ik3 or so, a normal itr is enough... that's what I wanted to focus on... RE: Let a enemy stand at a place forever - Ramond - 12-11-2009 Well, I included the itr kind 3 because he made it sound like he wanted an attack that makes the enemy fall asleep or so. RE: Let a enemy stand at a place forever - MH-Razen - 12-11-2009 rofl, feel like you come along without me, too. Won't post for the next few months anymore
RE: Let a enemy stand at a place forever - jf8429 - 12-12-2009 Is it like this? state: 3 means stop moving? I should use (next:0 or next: 300)? <frame> 300 stopped pic: 0 state: 3 wait: 5 next: 0 dvx: 0 dvy: 0 dvz: 0 centerx: 39 centery: 79 hit_a: 0 hit_d: 0 hit_j: 0 bdy: kind: 0 x: 21 y: 18 w: 43 h: 62 bdy_end: <frame_end> RE: Let a enemy stand at a place forever - Ramond - 12-12-2009 State 3 does make the enemy not able to move with arrow keys, but it may happen that other COMs in front of the char with state 3 start to "defend", because state 3 is the attacking state, and the COMs are programmed in a way that lets them defend when they're in front of the char and if the char has an itr. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard this somewhere.) State 15 would be safer to use IMO, but it's really up to you as in this case it should have the same effect. Whether you use next 0 or next 300 doesn't matter in this case. Just try it out. RE: Let a enemy stand at a place forever - jf8429 - 12-12-2009 So if i use state: 15 , it has the same effect and 100% work? But state: 3 the enemeies may move and 99% work? |
