rebounding question - NoneX - 12-28-2009

Hi guys,

Rebounding just work for one side. Is it possible to do it for the other side to ?

RE: rebounding question - Alblaka - 12-28-2009

Rebounding = T3 gets reflected by getting hit by something besides the actual "owner" of the T3

Dunno, but you could try to spawn a T3, that spawns a T3 that spawns the "real T3" (energy ball), this should be reflectable by anyone (since the "owner" is one of the spawned T3's, not the char)...
Just a theory...

erm, I'm a bit confused which kind of reflect you need:
type3 / ik9 - john shield
type 3 / normal rebound
type0 / ?? (in defend frames) - I know there`s something but I cant look up right now and dont remember which element it was (I start to forget DC, noooooo!) - this rebound really only works in one direction...

@Alblaka
actually as long as it's on your team, you can't rebound an energy ball from the back (not normally anyway)

@topic
lessie...
well you *could* edit every t3 with an extra bdy at some really high (-ve) area, and edit every t0 to opoint a t0 at that same y coordinate with dvy: 550 and state: 3005, pic: 999 and facing: 1 and some normal ik0, then disappears immediately, but you'd get that "Com" appearing.

you could go hex it, look for where it compares the facing values, and replace the jne to a jmp (or je to nop if it's implemented the other way).

perhaps there's a much simpler way i haven't thought of

that was an itr with effect: 4, used in firzen's, knight's and jan's defend frames
