[solved] BG "Foreground" Problem - Lauli - 02-06-2010 Okay, so I had a little idea today, and made this background for a short Stage scene. It's 2400px long, by the way. ![]() What I wanted to do is, that, while in Stage, the environment gets affected. So I thought that I could just spawn the Railway Bridge (where the actual rails are still missing, actually) and do the things I would like. But as you can see, there are also objects "in front" of the bridge (that move faster because of the perspective & bla). So if I spawn the Railway, the cliffs get covered, and that would look pretty much unrealistic. Have you got any idea, how I could make "environment-events" but still have the in-front objects? It's kind of hard to understand. I hope you still somehow manage to get what I mean... RE: BG "Foreground" Problem - MH-Razen - 02-06-2010 everything which is in the backgrround-file is ALWAYS behind all objects - so you`ve two ways: -spawn the rocks as objects, too and make it look 3d somehow -ask nave for a hex solution ![]() RE: BG "Foreground" Problem - Lauli - 02-06-2010 Yea, thanks... But didn't really help me. :P I came around the problem, so yea. Solved. 999 |
