[solved] Attack cancels when landing - RuneKiri - 04-01-2010
Hi, I've been trying to ad an attack to bandit, where he jumps backwards, over the enemy, and makes a powerfull rushing attack from behind, but when he lands, after making the jump, he goes back to Frame: 0 and just stands there, can anyone tell me how to make him continue with the attack?

He lands during frame 280 or 281 (I'm pretty sure it's during frame 280).

Add a state: 100 in the last "jumps backwards" frame.
If he lands on ground while in state:100 the char will jump to frame 94 (hardcoded).
Now just replace the frame 94 with the begin of the "powerfull rushing attack" and you'll be fine ^^

I tried and it didn't work, he stopped when he landed anyways.

i guess it has to do with state 3 in every frame - that gives the char little chance to go to another chance, but I`m not 100% sure about this - I suggest you study Louis.dat where the state 100 alblaka mentioned is used - cause this will work if you do it right

Could you may add the changed code with the state:100 and the frame 94?
