[solved] Some Questions - Ace - 04-02-2010 Hi all, I'm wondering if it is possible to remove the pink "Com" word that appears below a newly installed character in Stage mode? Would a modification to criminal.dat help? If so, how? In other words, I want to make a newly installed character a minion. Also, how can I give a custom character AI; is it possible to do so without having to replace one of the original LF2 game characters (like Firen or Deep))? RE: Some Questions - Simoneon - 04-02-2010 To your first question - yea, you might edit exe (with ResHacker). It's pretty easy, just edit (make it all black) the bmp which contains pink letters and you're done ;D About your other question... I think that it's only possible on hex - no DC solution from my side, though. RE: Some Questions - TheNave - 04-02-2010 @Ace you don't have to replace a character if you want to give him the same AI, you can simply just use the same id as that char and don't have to remove him or whatsoever, multiple ID's do work and don't bug the game or whatsoever and to the first question, if you want it removed on one char only you can give it the id of justin jack jan etc. too, that'd make him a minion without com-logo RE: Some Questions - Alblaka - 04-02-2010 (04-02-2010, 04:11 PM)TheNave Wrote: @Ace WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT I thought using the same ID twice in a data.txt leads to a crash always? RE: Some Questions - Divisor - 04-02-2010 No, it only creates problems in stage mode, as far as I know. Tried before. And I am some random guy who's doesn't mess around with the LF2 folder much (if that helps). Solved. (Dang wish I could do that.) Closed.
