[Char] Paelem - RUDOLF27 - 06-17-2008 Paelem for LF2: (Short for "Pain Elemental" from Doom 2) ![]() WHAT'S LEFT: - add mp usage to some minor moves. - edit blood of fire, implement flying coding. - edit lost souls coding/ anim. - add armor. - edit more, finishing... INSTALL: 1. Sprites, Sounds & Data - LF2 Folder > data/paelem 3. Add in data.txt under <object>: id: 10 type: 0 file: data\paelem\paelem.dat id: 512 type: 3 file: data\paelem\paelem_death.dat id: 513 type: 3 file: data\paelem\paelem_fire.dat id: 514 type: 3 file: data\paelem\paelem_souls.dat id: 515 type: 3 file: data\paelem\paelem_eyes.dat id: 516 type: 3 file: data\paelem\paelem_blood.dat NOTE: You can change the Character id no. but the given id no. is meant for AI. MOVES: 1. Paelem Fire (20 mp): D + v + A - a very strong fire ball 2. Lost Souls (30 mp): D + > + A - very strong chasing attack 3. Blood of Fire (50 mp): D + ^ + A - spitting blood with fire that can hurt & burn enemies... 4. Eyes of Doom (60 mp): D + > + J - surrounded with numerous eyes that attack in all directions... 5. Paelem's Curse (+40 mp, -10 hp): EYES OF DOOM + A - a giant eye will come out in the sky knocking down all enemies. I actually made this character years ago but I'm still editing him. ![]() He's one of the sub-bosses in my new LF2 Mod entitled: "Little Fighter 2: Reign of Doom (LF2-RoD)" but is still unfinished. My mod consists of original LF2 chars + Doom, Hexen & other chars with unique moves. ![]() Other chars will be released together with the mod soon, hopefully... ![]() RE: [Char] Paelem - Silverthorn - 06-17-2008 the gif is actually really fun to stare at ![]() anyways, I haven't tested anything yet, the thing that throws me off is that there 6 files for the character. Is there really no other way of optimizing? I still prefer the regular LF2 1.9 (without the c), which has just room for 100 objects. Quite a lot files that you have there to pack them in here. I'd really advice you to try to push some attacks into one file. And the gif is still running... how mezmerizing ![]() RE: [Char] Paelem - RUDOLF27 - 06-17-2008 Thanks, that's my most favourite move that I have made so far. ![]() I'm actually optimizing some files of my other chars before, but didn't finish since the 100 data limit was already broken. And also, I might overlook some bugs when combining files (since I have experienced some files not working correctly when combined). But I might still try to optimize the files for the next release. ![]() RE: [Char] Paelem - Hypermodder - 06-17-2008 wow, first char taken out of a doom-game! Could you make an Imp after finishÃng the painelemental? Would need some transform frames into a higher Imp! Although most chars that I will be making might not stick to the original since I don't really know the game. Or maybe I should start doing a research now. :8 And also, I'm still trying to limit the chars since I'm not removing the original chars from LF2... ![]() |
