there are some programs which let you do own cursors.
i for example made my normal mouse to this:

question: before i download how r u supposed to customize ur cursor.... like the name? .cur?

you mean how to change your cursors look?
go to system control (or something similar, don't know the english windows version) -> mouse.

or did you mean how to do .cur files?
in this case, download a cursor creator software. i recommend this one: http://www.rw-designer.com/cursor-maker

lol it's been awhile since i last remembered this thread ~ so i revived it...
here is mine but idk how to convert any of my pics from either (.png or .gif) to (.cur or .ani)
i tired both programs tht u guys provided...sorry for bein sooo noobish all the time...
i'd be really grateful if u put this into a cursor/animation for meh :lion:

ummmm i found out how...
Go on Gimp and save the stuff as a .ico (then change it manually to .cur or .ani)
the problem is once i have customized my pointers they do not accept .ani????
the other .ani's i have work (but tht only becuz they are from Microsoft)
would really help if i knew whut the problem was to animation...
