May you already noticed, may not, but atm there is a new wave of infections by a new virus:
It infects you via sending the message above. It will lead you to a download which consists of a (actually bad camoflaged) exe-file which will autoinstall the virus to your disk.

The problem about this virus is, it will use your MSN/ICQ (and my other messengers) to send itself (as the message above) to all your friends online...
And actually most people (me too, though i didn't download the file ^^) click the link...

If you receive such a message DON'T CLICK IT, but immeadeantly tell your contact he got infected (since he won't see his messenger sent that message).

Hope this can may prevent some further victims ^^'

RE: WARNING: New Virus spreading - Divisor - 04-30-2010

Gawd, this is so annoying.
Half of my contacts have this...and whenever I log on, they fill my toolbar with those damn messages x_x

Made me starting to hate MSN...

RE: WARNING: New Virus spreading - Ascor - 04-30-2010

Oh some people have pretty bad programming skills and use a method the victim is able to see if he sended a message or not ^^
actually the w0rm is opening a window typing the message and then closing it :D

but look at the extensions ppls please

Thank you for the heads up Alblaka.

I'm typically wary due to experience, but it's always nice to know for sure
it's not good. ^^

Jup, if i would have left the link there, about... dunno... 20% of the people viewing this thread would FIRST have clicked the link and then read the text ^^'

(20% of viewers, doesn't mean 20% of the forum users... don't forget the guests...)
