[solved] [BG] Animations - Magnamancy - 05-21-2010 I believe this problem to be relatively simple, I simply can't wrap my head around what the main website is talking about. I've performed a search on here too, which hasn't yielded anything. Aim: To create pseudo-movement in a background I'm working on through pictures that change over time. In easy english an animation. ^^; Core Problem: I don't understand the code/concept of the code. Here's what I found on the main site (Click to View) Here's what I interpreted (Click to View) Resulting code thus far (Click to View) So Far: The background only shows the sprite for Fire1. I'm sure it's only a logic problem on my part, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
RE: [BG] Animations - Azriel - 05-21-2010 tags redefined cc: total timer count (counts from 0 to this number then restarts from 0) c1: start displaying the image c2: stop displaying the image so between c1 and c2 values that the counter is on, draw the specified image on screen. Azriel~ RE: [BG] Animations - Magnamancy - 05-21-2010 ... Azriel. I think I love you. In a purely platonic and extremely manly fashion. Works perfectly. Thread solved. ^^ |
