Character Limit? - Tyro - 08-08-2010
I've been on this forum awhile and I've kinda been downloading some original characters (the ones they released ofc) I've only gotten 4 ppl in but whenever I try get more they don't show up. I was wondering if the LF2 (Version 2.0a) has a character limit becoz im not seeing the chars I add and if there is a limit, Is there a way to change it?
*EDIT*
Found out tht if you seperate the characters data and skill date into right categories you can see the character (Basically I shouldn't put Klyp.dat and Klyp_ball.dat together >.<)

dont have limit (if have its something new for me) check if some of then need the cheat code (lf2.net)

Find out something interesting, one of the Characters i've download seems to only be able to be used if you click Random, meaning he can't be picked normally. This might solve my problem with other chars.

since you've only got 4 of them installed, why don't you tell us which 4 you've installed and the fifth one that you are trying to install?

Well I've Got Deepnis(Not from this site, he replaces Template), Hiei, Bluna and Woodis. The fifth person I tried to get was Frozen

show us your data.txt and tell us which version of LF2 you are using as well please

object limit of 1.9 and 1.9c:
100 objects (so attacks, weapons and chars)
limit of 2.0 and 2.0a is a lot higher

would be a good idea if the following lines are after julian_ball2.dat rather than stuck at template.dat/davis.dat
