Hi all, i am new in these forums. Freshly registered
Anyway i play little figther 2 years now. But Datachanging has come to my interest now since i am also planning to be a programmer in future (Note: I'm only 14 )Anyway lets get to the point
So i already downloaded this datachanger and all i could to is to modify the existing characters like running speed and such (total basic) But i want to go further but i cant do it on my own
I want to learn how to create my own character i want to know what does that mean in DC and what that means and why and how and where.
Now you will probably say *There are alot of tutorials in here* Yes there are but i just dont understand alot of stuff in them and i cant do it via them...
So. I'm asking if someone could like Guide me or something on MSN or skype cuz i dont want to spam the forum every next minute: OK I GOT THERE WHAT NOW ?
so PLEASE can someone with the ability to create his own character, to mod and such PM me so we can talk about MSN/SKYPE in whichever you will guide me to my path to.... Proffesional Char creator xD.
Oh and if i posted in wrong section im realy sorry but couldnt find any section more proper.

If you can't understand even the mainsite's tutorials then god help you. When it come to teaching somethings below advance DCing level, 90% people around here will just one way or another repeat stuffs on the mainsite.
Try to re-read all the tutorial over and over until you get a rough outline of what does what and then use the press-the-button-and-see-what-it-does method to test out what can occur when you add this or delete that. By doing so you'll be able to grasp the function of each tag pretty quick.
Once you've gotten through the basic of knowing the function of each tag, try to think of an effect you would want to make (like freeze fire out baseballs,...) and then make a list of all the tag involved (fire baseball is opoint:, get appropriate pic is pic:,... ) then work out which value need to be filled in to those. This will get you used to the thinking process involve in DCing.
If the out come isn't what you hope for then ask here. You've got a whole community of experienced DCers that will be gladly to help.

Sorry, but I don't think anybody here can be bothered explaining you DataChanging step by step.
If you think about it, the first DCers didn't have anything to learn from - they had to figure out everything by themselves, with trial and error methods.
Now, however, you have the LFE tutorials, which are probably the best ones I have ever seen. I am sure that if you put enough effort, you will learn like everyone else did. Remember that there is no shortcut to learning anything - all you need is the will to practice and a good teacher, which the LFE tutorials certainly are.
I know this is not the answer you wanted to see, but it's the truth. Read everything on LFE, try and if you fail, try again. You will get it right eventually. If there are still things you don't understand, feel free to ask here though.

I can only agree to the two people above: Everything someone can tell you is already well covered with mainsite tuts.
However, if you are completely desperate and on a dumb line, then you could also PM me on specific questions.
Though i won't have the time/nerve teaching you every single part of DC, you're free to ask whenever you encounter problems or errors.
As soon as you mastered the basics (like changing values of attacks, opointing objects etc) you could also open a thread in the DC section with something like "Kerbors' nubbish questions" and post every problem of yours there ^^ Noone will be annoyed by beginners asking if they don't overspam 9000 threads each containing a small question...

And always remember what you want to do, not how do you do it. Know what you're doing and you'll be fine.
