R-LF2 Help - placacea - 07-07-2008

OK, so I installed R-LF2 over my regular LF2. It worked perfectly, except for CL. He's fine but his "Recovery" move seems to drain a lot of mana and has no affect at all on his health. I am also pretty sure that it did not react with any other character, enemy or otherwise.

I checked the file with a data changer (I found a way to open the weird ".dat" files) and found that the mana value for the "Recovery" move was negative. But it still drained mana as if it were positive!

Help?

firstly its not weird to open the .dat files.

Secondly when you used the heal effect it might be the same as johns self heal. If it is a amx it wont do anything.

rlf2 files are locked
you cant change them:p

keep pressing a to keep healing yourself it can heal over the maximum health limit it works fine

Thanks. I see what my mistake was - I didn't keep pressing attack.

But I'm still confused - in the ".dat" files the mana values for the specific move "Recovery" was a negative number, but my mana dropped anyways. If it were negative, wouldn't my mana rise? I read that in the Advanced DC tutorials.

if the frame is 'next'ed negative mp reduces the mp.
but if the frame is reached by an input like a,d>a,etc. then -ve mp adds to mp.

evidence: go see firens inferno(dvj attack) mp.
it is -ve

I just entered mainsite, went down to google searh, searched for "RLF2" within LF-empire and the second page is this:

hey there, im having some issues getting r-lf2 to work. i did everything in the instructions, but i can only get the original 8 players, so no firzen, louisex, etc.

can somebody help?
