How can I create a own character in LF2 ?

they probably made themselves a programming environment via c++.
but for the actual characters, they probably used sth like the data changer or just a plain text editor.

i am not sure, but i recall mh said that marti and starsky developed a prog for them selves (for data and spriting)
i know i read this somewhere before, i just dont remmember

this question made me interested and i wrote an email to marti. Not sure who quick he answers, we didnt talk since a few months and I`ve no idea about his time table ...

I guess he simply dc'ed it with a text editor and encrypted it with a tiny programm similar to that en/decrypt thing which was used to encrypt R-LF2 files once
