this is what you get in the whos online list - how about changing that to 'Chat' and possibly even making a new bar that shows whos in there (similar to the online users)

Hm, no way for this list I think - it is a plugin which display the IRC there, but I doubt we can read it out who's there...
Will still look around for a way.

well only whos on that page - not whos actually in the chat (eg with a chat client)

The location isnt unknown anymore. Thanks to Azriel for testing out.
BTW: The system don't work 100% if you've several windows opened with LFE-FOrums
