At member list are these options:
Sort by:
Username
Registration date
Last visit
Post count
Members refered
Why not to add:
Country
Reputation

how would they be sorted by country? Only way would be alphabeticly. As for the sort by rep, sounds a good idea imo.

Well, combining this idea with pf's idea of alphabetical order, it seems to mess up the pre-existing order. Say f.e A person with A as his starting letter comes from a country which has Z as its starting letter would go to the last page :P . Though we could only add country to the pre-existing order. And for the rep points, i think it would be good too.

you simply cant sort them by country. Tell me which country comes first? And which one second? U just cant.

well, i dont like the idea of sorting the member after reputation. Makes me think that this member is better then that, and that bmember better then this, no, I dont like this, sry.
For the country: The idea is good, the realisation is complicated.
First: Country isnt necessary field to fill out, it`s optional, so not everybody will use it.
Second: The sorting would be alphabetic ofc, and then it`ll still hard to find your country if it is somewhere in the mid, like germany or moldavia or what do I know.
So the only solution I can think of is that somebody - probably BP - create a new site like the motm or so where you can search members from your country - on top there`s a dropdown where you can select the country you want and then press submit and a list of guys from this country appears.
Since BP is away for a while I dont know if he can do it, so I guess we`ve to wait

IIRC, when new members register, they can fill out who referred them to the forum. But I don't think that's a MyBB feature though.

I know that idea for country is better than rep.When I posted this thread,I thought that rep was not a very good idea for reasons that MH-Razen said.

Why sort by country? Is that really important at all to even bother having the work?
