We have:
xxxx wrote:

and this is good. But moderators can do that:

"bla bla bla" text don't have any conjunction with "...this post because: ".

the part "...because" ,I think would be better if it is replaced with "??? insert:" or something else.
Really, word "because" dont has conjunction with text that moderators wrote.

Oh come on, do grammar mistakes bother you THAT much? D:

@Divisor
Im not talking about grammar mistakes.

Yep, that isn't even a grammar mistake. But seriously, what good would it do? It isn't the "because" that delivers the message, but the content of the modnotice.

You say that the modnotice box uses the wrong expression, how is that not a grammar issue? (okay, fine, maybe it's more a style issue than a grammar one, but still...)

In any case, what I wanted to point out was that it's not such a big of a problem for you to make a new thread and rant about it. If it bothers you that much, then you should PM an admin and ask that the text in the box be rewritten.

I think the modnotice plugin (or w/e) purpose is to edit a post and write why you edited it, and not just comment on everything, like moderators on LFE do :p

This lol. It's pretty annoying :p
It is originally intended to edit your post to notify you of like a warning or something but here in LFE everyone uses it as a reply to the poster instead of writing their own post lol

Yes,this is the thing that I was talking about.(simon and Bashscrazy understood it)

My bad, empirefantasy, I guess I misunderstood your post.

I agree that it is somehow annoying, but I guess the mods would have an over 9000 postcount if they didn't use modnotices to comment.

And, as someone (SirFrog) pointed out, it's more fun to hijack the post than to write your own :P

strange idea popping up while reading this... how about we make a modnotice-free-day?
to honor those poor guys getting hijacked... I would be for a friday :p

plugin-creator Wrote:This plugin give a option to moderate a posting. The moderator can create a message which a normal user can't erase or change

it is the not eraseable part which is important. Technically why would I write. . "Phil edited your post because your post is not smexy enough" is silly cause when I write it normally like "Your post is not smexy enough" or "Dude you gotta calm down" is giving the same results as a specific "why" question behind it. Except for really silly modnotices in a look-at-leccy's-style (nothing against you duck, you are just a good example :P )
