[solved] Simple explanation for adding dialogs in stage.dat - FreezeLoverandpossiblyexpert - 05-14-2011 I know this might be familiar, but all the explanations are just too difficult to understand. Can some one give a easier explanation to me? Thanks if you do. P.S: Is it a must to put it in the stage data ? RE: Simple explanation for adding dialogs in stage.dat - empirefantasy - 05-14-2011 First you need to create a type:5 dat file.Inside dat file, there need to be frames (without bdy,itr etc.) which have talks (state of those frames: 9997).If you want to appear talking bubble for 4 seconds, wait need to be 120 (1 second=20 TU) then next 1000,to disappear it ![]() Then you go to stage.dat and add there id: (id of your talking file) and act: (number of frame) . See Lf2 robotical: >>here<< (in stage 1 I think) Also there are other ways to do that, but they are more complicated. Good luck with your MOD! RE: Simple explanation for adding dialogs in stage.dat - Electric2Shock - 05-14-2011 Empirefntasy left one thing. The distance from the bound border. The talks will appear in any place they can and maybe the players will not be able to see them. Good if you use dvx: 550 dvy: 550 and dvz: 550 to prevent any y- or x- movement, especially to have no effect of gravity. Well good luck for your stage mode. off-topic: Why dont you (empirefantasy) put talkings in your Adventure stage? RE: Simple explanation for adding dialogs in stage.dat - Sonic Boom - 05-15-2011 Dude First of all: Frost is a name of the W.I.P Char. Of PF so you can't use that name!! second his face looks way too horrid! he is having very light color on head and eyes whereas the body is copied so the shading difference can be seen! Plz change the name for that char. and improve the face [add some purple color aura or something !!] RE: Simple explanation for adding dialogs in stage.dat - FreezeLoverandpossiblyexpert - 05-15-2011 (05-15-2011, 07:21 AM)Sonic Boom Wrote: Dude First of all: Frost is a name of the W.I.P Char.
