first sprite - motorax - 10-13-2011 hi guys, im new in here and in spriting, hope to get better... oh, and sorry for bad eng... he has a plant on his head, dont ask why... lol hope you like it, im not.. Nice shading overall, the only thing which could be improved is the shading of his boots and the nose+mouth part (nose normally 1px, mouth 2px & no shading in between) I wait for more RE: first sprite - ~Dome~ - 10-13-2011 not bad for your start! I like most of the shading. things i would improve: - the waist looks a bit thin - he has no neck [not sure if that was too important, correct me if i'm wrong. - you can't really tell whether he has gloves on, or he has a green hand - the shoes need a bit more darker shading in my opinion. - get rid of the plant and try to make some fresh hair RE: first sprite - Gad - 10-13-2011 I love the design <3. But: - head looks kinda unnatural shaped. - too thin in hips - black borderline - pale shading What program have u used? If u're still using paint try Gimp/Photofiltre/Photoshop to improve your sprites.
