New Personal Record on the deadlift, which I'm really happy about Finally reached 200kg after years of training RE: Real-Life pics of you - Gespenst - 03-01-2016 Man, you are amazing! Deadlifting is realy dangerious excersise. Cheers! RE: Real-Life pics of you - Memento - 03-02-2016 (03-01-2016, 11:52 PM)Faker Wrote: Man, you are amazing! Deadlifting is realy dangerious excersise. Thanks for the compliment It's not all that dangerous if you do it right, but very few people are doing it right.. I did it entirely wrong in the past as well, and even now I can do it with perfect technique on normal weight, my knee is still going inward on this heavy lift. But that's also part of the sport: find your weaknesses and work on your imbalances Training has helped me a lot to overcome postural problems and muscle imbalances. So I won't stop untill I (almost) drop RE: Real-Life pics of you - A-Man - 03-02-2016 What could happen if you do it wrong other than not being able to lift it? How dangerous can it get? A hernia is probably the worst thing that could happen (of all the common problems). But as long as you lift symetrical with a relatively straight (lower) back, that is very unlikely to happen. I tried 220 but couldn't keep my back straight, so I dropped the weight. Safetly first RE: Real-Life pics of you - LutiChris - 04-21-2016 Me doing paintballing RE: Real-Life pics of you - Gespenst - 05-18-2016 Me at dorm, kind a sleeping, kind a writting assigments.
