It's because your sprite has the colour R:0 B:0 G:0
How do you think the black BG's in the spritesheets never appear in game?
because they are removed.
the colour 0 0 0 doesn't appear in LF2
you can use 1 1 1 or something a tad bit brighter.

OK thx for the answer and do you know if there is a way to change the color 0 0 0 automatically.

Easiest way would be by selecting the black area (magic wand tool or however it's called) and brightening it up with the selection still active. That, of course, means you'll have to ensure you don't accidentally brighten up the black background, otherwise you'll get a dark box around your character ;)

in photoshop:
open a new layer > fill it with white color > change the opacity of that layer to 1-5% > right click on the layer > create clipping mask > mask it on the layer with the sprite that without the black background > save and have fun :D
gl man
if u use ps fcrs ^^

Facepalm
If you use Window7, you can select the color by paint by clicking a small box on the top right that looks like this. You can select the precise color there.

I'm using a Chinese PC so don't mind the language. Oh, and the box works for photofiltre, GIMP....too.:P
