Try shade it deep t-shirts.
Give t-shirts second color then from left side paint with darker color(bigger), from left side paint with
little lighter color (not to much).You can blour it and that it.
I think you can do that
(this tehnque use for other shade ofcourse if you like)

hmmmmm,
try shade it like i say up...left need be shadow, right light.
Its hard to say.arm have his own shade, boddy have shade and other hand have his own shade( left shadow right light).
I am sure you dont uderstand me, but...

Only practice can make you good spriter!!!!

btw try make your own base.It will help you very much.Sprite will look more special.

about my own base i cant because i make it sooo soooo soooo lame

and then i cant do my character

i cant even (hardly) use template for a base
and if you look closer you will see i shade the left like right but with more darkness

OK, try then use more second color...
and Like i say you werent undertood me..
sorry, my false.up i say "you need blur it".You need smudge it with finger in photofilter.Its same but with smudge tool you can move shade.

Look at my sprite thread (from beginner)
You should read all post (first 2 page) and try to think about what you read.
If you read very careful, you will understand somethings about your sprites.
....
Dont be lazy for do that.
