Windows 7 Speech Recognition Feature - Kevin - 01-03-2012 I have been using windows Stephen for about a year, but I have just realized the speech recognition feature. So basically, you can talk to the control of your computer to voices. For example, when you say start it is equal to clicking start on the last bottom corner of the screen. So you can open notepad, for example, by saying start, all programs, accessories, notepad, or simply by saying open notepad. This is very interesting because I wrote this post totally with speech. If you have a clue to articulation maybe you can find Foster by speech. If you have a good match to Asia and you may be able to hide Foster by speech. If you have it with articulation you may be able to fight off for that speech. If you have a group of Jewish and you may be able to find Foster by speech. OK, I give up. I don't know why, that sentence is very difficult for me. Wait, I will try again. If you have a good articulation, maybe you can type faster by speech. Well, this is what I mean. I still have to make some corrections after dictating sentences to the computer, and that makes typing with keyboard faster than by speech. Also, from the word corrections that I made, the computer actually learns, so overtime it will get better. But, this is really interesting for me because I have never done something like this before, and this can run better after I train the computer by reading some sentences it gives. RE: Windows 7 Speech Recognition Feature - Bamboori - 01-04-2012 haha, time for some voice powered lf2 fights RE: Windows 7 Speech Recognition Feature - The Lost Global Mod - 01-04-2012 *somewhere in a little flat on the east part of europe* ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK NO U DON'T! RE: Windows 7 Speech Recognition Feature - mfc - 01-04-2012 I didn't know that wiin7 had this too.. In XP; i was using "Tazti". That is the program which win7 inspired from(maybe). Yea Tazti can learn too... RE: Windows 7 Speech Recognition Feature - Silverthorn - 01-04-2012 @Phil: this pretty much sounds like what my commentary is like when I play with Don over voice-chat xD Anyways, I tried to use it to speed up writing my lab reports. Turned out to be a big fail because it misinterpreted 50% of my words and refused to let me correct them. A paragraph that usually requires a few minutes suddenly took half an hour RE: Windows 7 Speech Recognition Feature - The Lost Global Mod - 01-05-2012 @Blue: i pity your neighbors :P also y u no have time for a rage session of the glorious three of rage D: to the speech thingy of win7: Tried it, failed, conclusion i gave it up, forgot to deactivate it, it started to bother me every time i started up my notebook, i raged, computer raged too and suddenly burning bits! EVERYWHERE! RE: Windows 7 Speech Recognition Feature - Kevin - 01-07-2012 xD Yeah, my computer is really good at recognizing few words, but when I start dictating sentences that just missed interprets seeing many words. But I still enjoy this, however, area What I said: "x. capital D. Yeah comma my computer is really good at recognizing key words, but when I start dictating sentences it just misinterprete too many words period. New line. But I still enjoy this comma haha period" So it typed 'area' instead of a period ('.') omg it happens pretty often. Maybe we should open a forum game for speech recognition xD . Anyway it does really well when I tell the computer to open start menu, or double clicking folders, showing numbers, and all other key words. Just dictating sentences has much problem.. too bad.. but still interesting. |
