LF1 Version without DOS? - qwertz143 - 06-05-2012

Is there a way to play Little Fighter 1 without using a dos emulator?

RE: LF1 Version without DOS? - YinYin - 06-06-2012

you need to either have dos or an emulator - no way around it

(in general you cannot run something that was made to run on a specific operation system without the essential components from it - the program uses its environment after all - what you want is like trying to listen to music from a cd without a cd player ...)

what do you want/expect from running this "without" dos?
also dosbox is so awesome - why would you even want to play it without so many freely adjustable settings?

what all dos emulators are there besides dosbox?

i think this is a good list
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:DOS_emulators

also i think dosbox is the best of them
do you have problems with it?

well yes, when i use dosbox strangely sound never comes
ie. its on mute
and when i exit the windows7 changes to the basic (a popup comes) and i feel this maybe screwing with the os
totally this actually scares me after hearing that dosbox is one of the best emulators
well, in general i do not like emulators and prefer original, but thanks for list anyway :)
I will now try virtual dos machine?
