ddraw.dll Enquiries - Electric2Shock - 07-27-2012 I have some little questions regarding ddraw.dll. Silva can answer these but you are welcome if you can and want to. 1. How much extra RAM does it consume along with lf2.exe? I have experienced that lf2.exe with dlls tend to consume extra RAM. 2. Is it a native dll? 3. Do you plan on trying to implement this dll on lf2.exe any sooner? 4. Did you use Microsoft Visual Studio? RE: ddraw.dll Enquiries - Boop - 07-27-2012 1. I don't know, depends on how many scripts you run. This dll will consume more ram than the other dll's used in hex editing. The dll's used in hex editing will only increase the ram usage by the size of the dll it's self (depending on what the dll does, timestop allocates extra memory, around 4kb I think). This dll needs to allocate memory. 2. I don't know what "compiled package dll" means, that's not a real thing. This is native dll. 3. What? 4. Yes - if you download the source from the download link: http://www.mediafire.com/?pxd026nqoqgw0 (source) you can see what's happening. Before you ask, I will not help you compile it, it's a pain. RE: ddraw.dll Enquiries - Kevin - 07-29-2012 3. Maybe he means lf2.exe, not only lf2a.exe ? :P RE: ddraw.dll Enquiries - Boop - 07-29-2012 Hmm, it's not difficult. I thought about adding support for 2.0, 2.0 no numlock and 1.9c/1.9 , but effort ![]() |
