LF2 Plus - Shymeck - 08-11-2012
LF2 Plus is a mod based on the version 2.0a of LF2. I have gathered some material from all over the internet (mainly LF-Empire) and merged them into one big collection. I tried to choose only high quality characters and backgrounds, I want not to change specific style of LF2.
You can ask - "what is your contribution?". I must admit, it is not too much, I have only compiled everything valuable (in my opinion) into this pack. I have also modified some of characters to fit into classic LF2 folder organisation + I wrote some AI scripts for characters (Aeron and Frozen). Clide's AI is by YinYin. I must mention none of authors have been omitted, I included readme files from stuff I have used, if I forgot about somebody, please tell me.
There are also some extras, they come from my private LF2 material collection. Enjoy
P.S. I do not place any screenshots here, it is just good old LF2 with some new backgrounds and characters.
P.S.S. Please post in this thread things you would like to see in the next version of the mod (better AI scripts, bgs, chars, etc.)

I have included authors info into the archive about everything I compiled so if somebody does not want to see here his work, he can just tell me. Publishing everything in the internet in my opinion means "I publish it because I want you to use it".
And I did not place it on the popular server because as I wrote before, I have no fun in playing with connection resets via HTTP. If you want, place it yourself.

Three pieces of advice:
-More detailed information about what exactly is inside of the pack. Noone will download "I have compiled everything valuable".
-Upload stuff to public filehosters. Rapidshare, mediafire, etc
-Be advised simply using random content from authors without their explicit permissions is usually frowned upon.

thx for your interest, I understand it very well, I have just thought there is nothing to show (on static screenshots), as I wrote, it is only a one big pack with additional AI scripts, gameplay is similar to original LF2. I cannot show AI strength through screenshots

And if this is JUST an AI modification, you might even try adding seperate links for the characters and the AI scripts. As you said, it is a pain in your a**.

The thread contains my AI scripts.
Into the archive with the mod I packed some movies, fanart and material I wanted to put somehow in newer version of the mod. Nothing special.
After some time I came to conclusion you are right
Next time I will publish only things unavailable (or hardly available) to download from anywhere else. In this mod I have nothing but AI scripts to show, so maybe it would be better to move this topic to Disposal category. Thanks for your constructive criticism. ;p
