Hello,
I want suggest something.
what if we would have something like this.
When a person wins official LFE contest like spriting, writing or fighting.
The he would get custom user title like Spriter, writer, fighter, dcer and so.
Of course admin before asking to change it, should ask if he realy wants, because some already might have custom user title.

i might be wrong, but that was what the awards were for originally. (i don't mean the contest related awards)

you can get this title just few times in a year, and also not everytime.
But then some people would realy know that person with custom title would be realy worth of it and it wont be just self claimed thing.
yes award in profile, but maybe more? like custom title?

check this link
those on the left are the forum awards. you get them by being good at something in the forums or something else.
Hover over them for their name. There are lots of those like helpful member, author and so forth.
contest awards you get when you win a contest or are in the top 3.

Change poll/topic from custom user title to forum award.
Because I do think that people who've made 1st places (several times or a single notable one) within certain areas should definitely get the respective forum award.

Well.
I'm actually being pretty annoyed by constantly changing descriptions below some user's usernames.
I get this is a 'fun' part, but changing it into something mentioned over my post would work better, IMO.
