Grabbing Ball Attack - bashscrazy - 08-30-2013
So I had a question 13 months ago that wasn't answered probably cause it wasn't in the DC thread.
So basically in this gif you see Vegeta grabbing and attacking the other Vegeta. The blast goes over him, what I want is the blast to be below him.
In other words. It should be between Vegeta and the enemy not on top of both of them.
Currently the blast is over Vegeta's hands as well. I want it to be below them.
2nd problem. If you are higher on the Z plane than the enemy. Then the enemy is on top of you rather than underneath you. How to fix that?

I somehow doubt it will look nice if the explosion goes behind the char or especially vegeta's hands. What I'd advice is just to make the explosion transparent.

No no, the "ball" goes underneath vegeta's hands because of his hand placement. but it is above the enemy.
It's essentially the same thing you see in the gif however you can see Vegeta's hands still as the energy is manifested and shot out.
I just needed help making it go underneath him but above the enemy. Turns out I needed to use state 9 in the frames but I wouldn't have realized if YinYin didn't mention the cover. And the hit_ja makes it go underneath his hands but still above the grabbed enemy.
So now it's perfect!
As you can see, even though woody is closer to the bottom, when he is grabbed, instead of being infront of Vegeta, he is below him. When Vegeta shoots the blast. It is below Vegeta but above Woody. This is what I wanted all along, so thanks YinYin!
