2013 Official Sprite Tournament - klodasmone - 09-30-2013
The third Official Spriting Tournament of 2013 is underway and you can join the bloodbath now. For the Empire!
RULES:
There will be three rounds.
The first round will be open to all and any participants.
The second round will be open only to those, who participated & won in the first round.
The third - and final - round will be open only to those, who participated & won in the second round.
VOTING:
Anyone can vote after the submissions are granted.
The voter can select three submissions and give 5 points to the first place, 3 points - to the second place, and 1 point to the third place.
For example, "A." - 5 points, "B." - 3 points, "C." - 1 point.
TOURNAMENT ELIMINATION
As you already guessed, the tournament will not be in pairs, but in Hobbesian "all against all" elimination system.
For example, if the first round will consist of about 14 participants (or more), in the second round only 7 participants remain, while in the first round (to battle for the podium finish) only 4 participants remain.
TIMETABLE:
First round entries' submission & voting:
2013.10.01 to 2013.10.16 --- 2013.10.17 to 2013.10.31
Tourney's 1st round deadline extended until 2013.10.23.
The voting begins and lasts for a week.
The voters, each, get to cast 5 points, 3 points and 1 point for three chosen participants accordingly.
The participants can vote, too, just not for themselves, obviously.
6 participants, who collected enough points, shall progress to the 2nd round.
If the participants collect equal points, the ones, who collected the equal points first and faster, progress further.

The theme for the second round, befittingly appropriate for the time of Halloween, is
SURVIVAL HORROR.
Three weeks, yet again, until the deadline for this round, unless we'll have all the entries sooner, and, obviously, will start the voting sooner, too.

This Tournament is the thing which is bringing me back to spriting after a long long time
I guess the theme should be more creative in which people can show their creativity or imagination not like some spriting of a existing thing :/
