Nope. However once you know your keys (arrows, jump, attack - this game has no defend) everything is rather self explanatory.
Upon selecting a character all move inputs are shown.
You could also play this though: http://y2f.heliohost.org/index.php?current=LF%20one%20over%20two.html
But it won't be the same experience.
