My current favourite is actually a recent one:

That music quality might sound a little out of place if the graphics don't match though.

Does this 8-bit arrangement of Pacific Rim's theme count?

A guy I know is a chiptune artist, RoccoW. If you like things like this, check his youtube channel :) https://www.youtube.com/user/Roccowschiptune

I'm not a fan myself however :P

YinYin, yeah, sometimes graphic also has to be on the same level.
STM1993, ofc :D
btw, dont know if this is advertisement or no but on youtube, there is one guy who calls himself "Wiiguy309" he makes (edits,) NES game sounds into stereo, leaving same mario tune but stereo :D also you can download soundtracks

lol Shovel Knight. The quality was actually intended since the game aimed for an 8-bit environment. That's truly a game I must get soon.
