Questions on LF2 Multi Server - woodywong0102 - 12-04-2014

Is the author of LF2 MS in this forum? or how can I contact him?

I want to change the port for the multi server because for some reasons I dont know, the port 12345 doesnt work well but others are fine. It is hard to change the listening port for LF2 I suppose, so if I can change the port for multi server, I will be able to avoid port 12345, right?

Anyone please give me some advice and help :( :(

The creator of lf2 ms is not on this forum. You can find him on the Israeli forum.
I can contact him and give him a link to this topic. He's been busy over the years, so it might take a while until he responds to you.

It's ok. Thank you

Here's what he says:

ayalx Wrote:LF2 does not support changing the connected port.
When LF2 gets the ip address to connect to, it always tries to connect to port 12345.
So changing the port is not possible without changing the assembly of LF2.

I recommend you to download TCPView from SysInternals suit:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspx
and check if some other program on your computer uses the port.
and check your firewall as well, try to turn it off to see if it helps.
