i just notice something the new forum does not have a new commers section maybe it could be maybe a sub forum of general i think it would be good to have one (even though we only have so many new comers a day)

Actually, the newcomers-forum was (more or less) a spam-forum. Sometimes there were useful questions but they mostly belonged into the DC- or sprite-sections. I don't think, a newcomer's forum would be necessary...

We had a newcomers section, but I sorta convinced MH that we should delete it as it's irrelevant and just gets too large as the forum grows.
So yeah, just by posting it's easy enough to discover how someone acts, and there's also a bio option in profiles for anyone who wants to show the world facts about themselves.
