I think this is still a pretty bad poll. There are spriters, DCers, HEX editors, AI coders (we don't mix LF2 data changers with HEX editting/AI coding). And then there are the members who can both sprite & DC, DC HEX AI but can't sprite... etc.
As for your reason why we can't have the "both" option, I think some members would still call themselves one thing over another. I can sprite too, but I don't like it and am nowhere near as good as the dedicated spriters here like PF/Ariel, so I identify myself as a DCer.
EDIT: However, there are those like Memento who prefer to identify themselves as a well-rounded person who can do both. Its not fair to ask those members to choose one over another.

I prefer data changing all the way. I just can't sprite for my life. I am planning to start working on spriting and animating soon however.
