Ummm. I think I got a small example. You need to check out Broly for a perfect example.

It is like this:

You make another type: 0 char that has no pics, no bdy, only some kind of itr and then each frame leads next: 1000. And then opoint the frames you want from the main char ON THE SAME FRAME. i.e. Both the opoint object and the real char should be on the same frame. You can make this thing for the basic data. But if you want more, then you are allowed to.

I cant explain it clearly. It is just a glimpse. For advanced explanation, check out Broly.

Broly means the LF2 char Broly :p.

Try using state :7 in your character.
State: 7 is pretty good ,but its has 2 disatvantges.
Its give defense only from the front & Its kinda of a problem in the walking frames & in few other frames . If you do it right the issue with the walking frames& the other frames can be solved.

I made a firzen for my own fun that has state: 7 in alomst all the frames.

if you're a newbie dc'er
don't even bother trying, it's hard enough for the advanced ones of us already

That's not encouraging.

Me personally I can't think off too many other solutions other than using Louis and the Knight for reference material.

I'd go with itr's although its cheap, it can be effective.

Example:
itr:
kind: 0 x: 21 y: 31 w: 70 h: 18 dvx: 12 fall: 70 bdefend: 16
effect: 23
itr_end:

Implement this in standing, walking or running frames. As you can see there is no injury and your opponent will get knocked back but no damage will be inflicted on him. So in a way, it acts as a sort of deflective armor. Maybe not the same as Louis's but still pretty effective.

PS: Note the W: 70. The regular value will be alot smaller than this but if you increase this number then the width area of effect will be increased as well. You can also increase the h: to a larger value. As you may have guessed h indicates the height.

So adding on to the "deflective" shield idea. It may not be armor but this is an alternative.

with that method why not use no dvx (or dvx: 0) and put a fall of -1 that way the enemy is un touched. and if the enemy gets knocked back with that method then just walking into them will push them away?
that's kinda blem.

Yes it'll push them away. I'm just using this "deflective shield method" as an alternative. Normal I would use Louis or Julian for reference material for armor. This is just an alternative.

But now that I think about it, your method can work as well. It's really up to Shin how he wants to go about it.

hmm, i haven't try it yet, but seems like if i put state 7, when the 'armors' break, it will go to broken defend, not injury frame.
If i change broken defend frame to injury frame, when i defend enemy's attack, and the defend is break, it will go to injury frame, not broken defend.
@ Nave: umm, seriously i'm a newbie that have many project at my laptop and not upload it because that all is s***. So, if about almost of all basic dc, i know it(although sometimes i awkward and need someone to ask me). I have many experience at DC, but now it stick at armor(sorry sir, no offense ;))
