The angels took like 25~30 minutes and the background 35~40, or something like that, I can't remember exactly. More than a hour for sure, and the background took more than the angels.

Thanks, and yeah, I remember doing the male angel's wings different to the female's, the positions made it kinda difficult to use the same shading style for both.

Brighter wings may look better... it's just that when I was spriting them, there were lots of superpositions and I tought that everything was mixing up (not while zooming, but you get the point), so I just used a darker color for them.
I think critics are quite helpful, I want to know if my sprites have errors that I "can't" see, so I take them nicely. However as I try to make my sprites perfect they are kinda dissapointing (like "Ah, damn, I didn't sprite that correctly =.="), but it motivates me to keep improving.

Ah, Gabriel, I always liked that sprite. It's not that bad to be one of my 'old' ones. He was supposed to be Louis counterpart-nemesis-whatever in my mod (was planning to do one).

Angels... got kinda carried away with the background, I had other things in mind (to be precise, clouds and greek columns).


It would be awesome to have a mod in wich you have to fight a Julian-controlled Davis. It's not original, but it works.



The purple floating thingys are the number of Dark Dragon Punchs he has left. He uses one, one of the thingys dissapear (S.cry.ed much?).

Remember the "True Final Boss" Sprite contest?
I was considering a "Possessed Davis" as an alternative to the "Successor Justin" I eventually submitted, but also thought it wasn't very original. (There have been too many Dark Davis in many old mods already.)

Anyway, very nice muscles on the body, but did you just copy davis' hair? Coz it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of your sprite in terms of proportions and shading. haha.


And.. FINISH DAVE ALREADY FOR GOODNESS SAKE. lol. There's so many of your other characters that would be good as a full character.

^You didn't tell us that there are new ones.
Anyway, I like the new one. The wings are obviously awesome and everything blends in very well.
However, I'd still prefer BP's and Chishios one, because they made a real contrast between light and dark (which makes their scale fit even better).
I think pretty much every of the new sprites looks better than it's counterpart. They somewhat are a lot more vivid. And they don't lean backwards as much as the old ones (which I personally didn't really like)
Btw: You totally have to turn Anima into a char :P
