Not much of a problem.. In the anime, the ball grows every few seconds. I can do the same thing for my spirit bomb, and use about 3 frames with wait: 1 to make it smoother. Else I would need about 30-40 frames to make it look somewhat smooth indeed :P What was the idea you have? Ideas are always welcome of course.
The spirit bomb is not going to chase. The level 1 and 2 spirit bomb will be easy to dodge and will cost a lot of MP and some time to charge also. The damage will be significant though.
The level 3 spirit bomb will be huge and therefor will be less easy to dodge. The damage will be a little more than the damage dealt by the level 2 spirit bomb, but the level 3 spirit bomb can't be destroyed. Sounds a bit overpowered, but: it requires full MP, about 8 seconds to charge, and therefor is very difficult to use.
Opinions?
Another option would be the following:
- 3 levels
- All levels do the same: they fall from the sky to the ground
- A little chasing effect if possible. Not sure if I can realize this data-technically, because I want it to explode when it hits the ground instead of chasing forever and explode when hitting a character or an object (and doing this is usually done by making it a weapon type in data)
I will first check and see if this is actually possible...
Edit: probably, yes. Since the boomerang also chases the opponent. ^_^
