haha...did ya fool really think that this project was quitted? even if it was on the 3rd page it still ain't dead!!!

so here's this liana thing i've been working on this afternoon

still needs bug fixes...like i've no idea why it's shaking like that after dropping down and it disappears if someone hits you while hanging...and then i need to do it for the other chars and change the sprites too lol

(so if someone who's more experienced than me [=almost anyone] would like to help just ask me to show the data)

is there a possibilyty to prevent certain users from posting in a thread?

edit: i thought about jumping from liana to next liana by pressing jump while hanging
then on the ground there would be some obstacle like a river that can't be crossed without jumping over it...

ok, so basically the char (only davis so far) catches the liana, which is in state 16
in the jumping frames there's an edited cpoint of the walking frames so it's not a normal catching...
then when pressing attack while in catching, the char is drops but the liana starts shaking (idunno what is the problem, it seems like there's one frame with wrong xy values or sth...
and another problem is that when an enemy hits the char, the liana disappears and i dunno how to choose which frame it'll go to

Is the liana a T0?
Then it will probably go to frame
- 0
- falling
- jumping (as 0 in air will result in jumping)
upon getting "free'd from a catch"

i guess any type can catch any type, dunno about t5

Basically it shouldn't be possible to catch anything besides T0.
