It will be fixed by the other person but, you should keep small things in mind when making sprites.
Why don't you open a thread and practice your skills over there?

i'm not motivated enough to edit this sprite cause i simply think it's not okay that someone who didnt do anything on the previous sprite / just did things which weren't acceptable for the major community comes up with the new sprite for the next round

You can edit this sprite but try not to make it worse, try make it better D: and only recolor isn't needed so if you don't know what to edit, please don't force yourself to edit it somehow bad.
