LF2 2.0 HUGE problem (changing)

i have the same problem. but i know the offsets , and try to change them with the 0-1-2-3 code and my code is too long and soo !!!

000498A8 for the 1999-2008 and sooo txt string is :
1:;<-3238-"dlm"uihjws!thsftyee

000498C4 for "by marty and starsky wong" or soo , txt string find :
bz"Pasvl Xqqg-"Vtbtvkz"Zooi

000491E0 for "http://...." and txt string find :
huvs:01zwx0OiuvoeGkjhugu.dqp

i changed them , but then it says the file would be corrupt , i think it´s
because the new copyright is too long.
but also , could you try to change the offsets of the ultimate patcher?

copyright is kinda messy now, since marti and starsky name is highlighted, so you will have to change it in a few places... Anyway wait a while, updates will come. I have to speak with MH about splitting the hex editing into 2.0 and 1.9c . Or maybe just put all the posts in some sort of archive, anyway I want the hex section to be new and fresh, otherwise people will start reviving old topics saying it doesn't work.

No, the threads won't be deleted, that's for sure. The only thing we might do is shifting the around a little

You need to talk to Rammichael about that, he programed it, so he is responsible for it. If he feels the desire, he will update it, and then, it'll be on the mainsite, but if not... well... then the UP is history...

The ultimate patcher is made by Rammichael, if he update it I'll surely put it on side...

Dunno exactly about that, but I assume that it's some sort of protection mechanism in the exe that checks for certain things. Ask Silva about that, I have no clue...
