To be honest I'm not really fond of mainly fighting animals. (But if you intended the mod to be like that, it's fine too)
Sure for the beginning stages it sounds nice, but actually a Guerilla-like Military force could be the "main enemy". Similar to Far Cry 2.

Look for some gameplay videos on youtube, I'm sure that can give you some inspiration too ;)

@lauli: that was a really great idea, but i don't know about "military"
cause if i don't edit the main "heroes" and all the enemys would've guns
but i think that it would be good like fighting against humans instead of
animals
and i got already an idea about that for the savanna stage, it would be
like a boss battle (2-5) and there the grass would end and there would
be fire and burned land and after you've beat the boss, he'll escape
with a helicopter

wow, this project had an interesting name so I had a look...

the bgs are easily made, but somehow they`re quite cool. But I definitly suggest that the sanddunes in the first one are not that regularly, and in case you use different layers they have a better 3d effect

for this grass stage: quite cool with the chars only visible half :p

for fighting animals: not sure if this will be finished, will be a lot of work then, the fighting militias - can understand if you dont like the idea with guns (even if I love FarCry2), but I just would like this as a finished project, and lots of sprites means it could be hard..

Anyways: Good luck with it, looking forward...

just made a "boss" char, an edited mark but imo it doesn't fit very well
to this mod, i had first normal mark as boss in stage 2 but it's just too easy... so well comment
