Bamboori starts following Nave, SirFrog and Drahcir. He is a little faster, so he catches up easily.

Bamboori: *pant* Where did he go?!
Nave: I don't know, I think he went into that little alleyway there.
SirFrog: We've had bad experience with alleyways before...

Blue Phoenix: Argh, let's go into the tavern. I could use a beer now.
snorsorbet: OK. Let's go.
Phil: *meows happily*
snorsorbet: No, *uncomprehendable*, you can't have any beer.
Phil: *meows and glares at snorsorbet*
snorsorbet: *sighs* I'm really sorry, beer is not for cats.
Phil: *meows dearly*

snorsorbet bends down to Phil and fondles his neck. Phil starts purring.

snorsorbet: Good cat. Now, let's go.

Together they leave for the tavern. They reach it in a few minutes' time.
When they enter, they are confronted with a muscular guy.

Guard: I'm sorry, but no pets allowed here.
snorsorbet: No?
Guard: No exceptions. You'll need to leave the cat outside.
Phil: *meows loudly*
snorsorbet: *to BluePhoenix* In our shape it wouldn't be a good idea to resist.
Blue Phoenix: Fine. But then what?

Phil won't be able to enter the tavern except if you choose to fight the guard, but that again could make you some kind of outlaws.
Other choices: snor and BP enter the tavern alone, Phil waits. Or snor waits with Phil, BP goes into the tavern alone. Or nobody goes in at all.

Anyway, there's also a possibility that there's nobody in the alley, and that he just ran in there just to scare us off.
Obviously, there could also be another band of bandits (lol, no pun intended) in there, but in that case I'd say run like hell
