Just went over it real quick, I like your color edits so far, you just did a beginner's mistake (not saying that you're a newbie, you did enough sprite modding). Unfortunately, lf2 doesn't support semi-transparency, so these glowing effects (which most of the time look quite good on the spritesheet) will look kinda... weird in the game... I'd say you should try to overlay the transparency filter over these glowing things (not the actual character, only the glow).
I alos like how the fire/ice angels explode, but I think you should add some more disappearing pics...
Also, don't blow these pictures up too much, I have something against pixelated pictures...
