Dude you got skills big time. Your sprites are fresh and original yet they are not exaggerated. The glow effect is a nice touch, but may I suggest llike a fading effect. Like making the glow dissepate and fade away to look more realistic. That's it from me. Good luck on the character.

Ok I'm putting up a test of the character for all to try out. The zip file is about 500kb

There are things that still need to be done like the DC stuff and some of the sprites need to be fixed or some new ones made. I'll Probably go back and look at everything as a whole and see what animations need to be fixed.

Here is my to do list, please don't repeat things here.

GRAPHICS:
-new dash attack
-new frames for run attack
-new D^J
-new portrait
-new earth shield
-fix columns
-fix standing/breathing
-fix glow attacks

DC:
-Make things break into rocks and pebbles
-make the earth shield work
-Refine hit boxes on the body
-Refine attack hit boxes
-column needs fixing they don't break from certain sides and team
-blood points
-weapon points
-make some combos work better

ANYWAYS heres a small bit from the read me, remember to tell me what you think!

NOTES:

Don't use any of my work yet, its not done! If you want to mess
with DC go ahead. I kind of need some help with it and I'll give
credits for any assistance. Rocky is a rock based guy. His attacks
are mainly mid/short range but they have a slight delay to perform.
Most of them are quite strong but none cost under 75 mp. Because
of this anticipation is important and so in the spacing. Remember
this is a Work in progress. Thank you and

------------------------------------------------------------------
MOVES:

D>A Rock Riser (mp 100)
Creates a 5 column of rocks in a line.
Can be aimed slightly up or down. Moderate wind up. Good for
Some defense as the rock columns can block some attacks and
slow others.

DvA Stone Mallet (mp 75)
Summons a stone mallet then swings it.
Very slow wind up. Huge damage and attack power. Stone mallet
is a weapon and can be used as one. It has short range like
the knife. Can be thrown to stun people.

D^A Pop Up (mp Free)
Does the super punch. Pops people into the air. No combos
after so far.

D>J Giga's Fury (mp 200)
Summons a giant stone hand to punish foes. Attack is directly
in front and a small attack appears behind. Does good damage
and goes through any atack. Quick to perform.

D>J Giga's Wrath (mp 75)
Summons a giant stone spike to impale foes. Attack is directly
in front and is very fast. Can only be performed after landing,
rolling, and Earthen Circle.

DvJ Earthen Circle (mp 100)
Summons a earthen sheild to protect. Can be performed in the
air. Also damages enemies. No damage is taken while in the
shield but after you can get hit.

D^J Evade (mp Free)
Simple back flip. Can be used in air.

>>A Whirling Hands (mp Free)
Two part run attack can be continued by constantly tapping A.

somehow the dashattack looks and feels really nice (the dash could be slightly lower so its easier to hit)
but the jump attack is far too slow for its purpose (and also sounds weird with that sound playing twice)
and the run attack is super akward aswell

i really like the d>a (you had the wrong oid on that in the download tho)
and also all glowing energy - maybe just add some yellow into that green gradient to make it a little more different from louis?

you could make the stone mallet form itself as it comes out of the ground in the animation (similar to the columns/freeze' ice sword)

why not allow Giga's Wrath to be performed during a normal jump?

already thought about some of his moves being able to petrify ppl?

edit: and consider some new sound effects instead of that teleport swirl all the time

lol I don't like the dash attack but like the jump attack for some reason. I'll try to fix the jump attack's speed and all that.

For the run attack I dunno why but I really like it even though its weird and silly. Might do something to it not sure.

I hated animating the mallet. Might change it up like you said

I dunno how to make the wrath in mid air :( I actually want to make it in air.

Not sure I want him to petrify people in place, I kinda prefer them being stunned or something

Yeah I need some new sounds they're all kind of lame.

Very good, I have to say.
It's already a nice character to play, made me look forward to see improvements =P

You actually noted almost everything in your to-do list, also YinYin suggested a lot...so for now I'll just wish you good luck with this project :D

Just fix those oid-s please, not everyone has the patience to modify your Data files :P

LOL yeah had to fix it quick.

I dunno I copied over woody's dvj teleport move and that works in the air. I'm bad at dc but I know how to mess with what I can understand.

Man guy where did you learn to sprite like that?
First char i enjoyed to play since long (Bah this sentence just doesnt sounds right :P)

I like him but you could've given him some extra range attacks ^^

frame 212 is jumping
woodys telelport has a hit_Dj and hit_Uj there
just add your hit_Fj for the piercing attack
(and to make him stay in the air use dvy: 550 - that number locks movement)

Thats really cool... Maybe I'll make 2 versions one that uses all that rock stuff like petrify and one for people that only want a new char and not to change files and such. Are you using those petrify files for a project or something? Also can u somehow show me the code for the columns breaking up like that :) ? cool thanks, I like the comparison gif too.
