Installing things into LF2

hey guys, when i install certain things and items into Lf2 v1.9c, i launch LF2 and it stops working at the point when it reaches the new installed data, there seems to be something wrong but i don't know what it is, i don't really know if this fits into any topic so i posted it here

Can you describe it a little more? Which file did you add, how did you change data.txt and what kind of error comes up?

First of all i would strongly recommend to download LF2 2.0 because it's faster, has sound and sometimes there occur compatibility errors if you try to run a char designed for 2.0 on a 1.9 .

Probably just doing that will already fix your problem ^^ If not, listen to Ramond and post some info about what and how you are installing.

If dont send error occured so re install the aplication and try again to change It dont forget any file to edit of the charecter

like for example when i download the character http://www.lf-empire.de/en/lfe-fileplane...4-targaros targaros from lf empire characters, i do everything the notepad tells me to do, a few times i crashed while launching lf2, i found out that the data. files were put into the wrong place, but after i put them into the right place, the launch was okay, however, when i was choosing characters, i press the left key, then lf2 stopped working

This is a known bug.
It will either occur, if there are less then 10 basic IDs (IDs which can be choosen by random, aka, the 10 hero-IDs). OR if you have too many objects in your data.txt (which is an issue solved by 2.0).

1. Ensure there are enough characters the "Random" engine can take.
2. Either clean your data.txt or install 2.0 (since it has a far higher ID-limit).
