It's nice. His arms and legs are fat, try making them slim. Use visible strokes to shade his hair.

Skin colors in the sprites of soccer guy didnt match. Also the hands and legs are stiff and doesn't give a natural feel. So aim in drawing a casual arms. See the arms in reference pictures. See how they are positioned, changed with perspective and stuff. So, study reference in terms of positioning and structure and fit it into lf-2 proportions. Its good you are using reference

The hand is a little normal... not as expected. Also this is a revamp of one character that is in the art forum. You find out who it is.
EDIT: And yes shoes are not shaded...

TO be really honest, i dont like this one.You can do it better.
I can beat that you did this one less then 30 min.
There are to much bug and wrong shading like his left hand, shading of legs....
There are some good things like head, sketch of legs(not shade).
I have no idea who can be that...
