Hmmmm, I just noticed something....
Does the char get burned? And if yes, I guess, you'll need some new burned-sprites, the burned template doesn't really fit in there

Yeah, I could give you some hints on how to do them... I hope you have PS, otherwise you need to find another way of doing the steps...
Step 1: Take some pics from the falling frames
Step 2: Edit their Hue (press [Ctrl] + [U]) to some red-ish color
Step 3 (in my opoinion the most difficult one): Draw random lines over the dragon in his falling direction in the colors yellow, orange, and red/brown shades
Difficult to explain, you have to work it through...

i tried it and ...thats ... not easy ^^' He has no falling Frames (I have
improvised)
I've looked annother way to draw them and the result is this :

but... why is a character that is burning turning transparent? Have you ever burned a match (ok, quite stupid question
)? I could never see through a burning match, just around it^^
