basically you making one "mistake" all the time, well its not mistake but in some way it is, anyways you are, in most of your sprites, leaving too little "shading parts"(dark color) and there is too many highlights! look at the hair in this newest sprite, there is a little shading, also chest and belly.. i would say pants but there are those dark lines which goes in the middle of highlights and makes whole pants more "dynamical"(AND I LIKE THAT *__* more than boring, plain and not dynamic style of shading).. I hope you understand what i just said, if not, be sure you are going to find out

we are some kind of rivals haha
Nowdays, we all improved our skills, i hope we are going to have competition only few of us to see who is best!

About that contest. We could, but i think we are competing in the existing sprite contest like the Revamp, or the Just gif spriting contest.

Lf2 chars, 1 color hair?
Just few have it. And other have few colors.
Deep or henry hair may be like that because of not finishing it or must be other reason. Sometimes you should leave unshaded parts.

I think that you are great spriter! :3 But sheet is very difficoult think to do. When i make stacne sheet, first i make breathe in, then breathe out. It's look better then.

Animation is too fast, not big deal, just to point out..
torso seems to looks wrong rotated, unnatural, but i am not sure.might edit sprite if i find time for it
well, 1 color hair its not always the case.. most of the time it has shading.. in this sprite it should has.
Still, you have to practise faces expression and whole head, same as i should practise..

He is a bit fat compared to the reference. Needs shading in his red color inner shirt. Cheeks need to slimmer!
