RE: Bla bla's sprites - Whaat - 01-04-2012 Well, you have really been trying hard and made many sprites, so i decided to give you little tip D: Since picture tells more than thousand words, you should check this: Your sprite My version of the same spriteI did some little changes there and there, and your job should be finding them so you understand what you should fix :/ Try finding these: Neck, more forehead (not flat head), thinner arms, shading and ''longer'' legs RE: Bla bla's sprites - Bla bla bla 44 - 01-04-2012 Thanks for all the tips. I made a new one . Here it is:
RE: Bla bla's sprites - Monolith - 01-04-2012 Good one,but fix where legs plug in to upper body part RE: Bla bla's sprites - The Lost Global Mod - 01-04-2012 wow, pretty good, mate. You are getting there, however some last hints: - pay attention to the arms and hands, in your sprites there is no real significant difference between the hand and the rest of the arm. you need to make some sort of clutched fist. Look at lf2 chars for reference - Your faces all look a bit too fat to me, use more shadow (or remove some at the end of face) and reduce the highlighted part of the face to make it look thiner. - The ear should be played a bit more up generally and try to keep it more roundish and let at least grow some hair out of the top of the ear grow to make it look more natural. - experiment more with the shadows, you are getting the hang of it ![]() I would give you some visuals, but i have no mouse at hand so I can't really do any better right now RE: Bla bla's sprites - Whaat - 01-04-2012 (01-04-2012, 12:08 PM)Bla bla bla 44 Wrote: Thanks for all the tips. I made a new oneGetting better, but. Still the contrast. In legs it's perfect, you can clearly see the light and dark parts. But why in the shirt you can see hardly any difference? The headband is nice idea, but since his hair is already red, red headband maybe isn't the best idea :/ I don't know do this pics help anything but since i'm bored i made ''my version'' again: Your version My versionSo i fixed shading (in shirt), arms (made them have ''hands''), headband (changed color), hair (little new shaping), face (made it thinner) and ear (smaller) . But guess what? I didn't have to change anything at legs, that's progress ![]() - Also little protip: I can't say that the muscularlike sprites are good for beginners since they need much more skill :/ try first making regular builded sprites, after having more skill you can try making muscular ones again. RE: Bla bla's sprites - Whaat - 01-04-2012 Nice, the sprite already has some style in it :/ But i have no idea what the f- that green thing is xp RE: Bla bla's sprites - Bla bla bla 44 - 01-04-2012 (01-04-2012, 03:46 PM)Whaat Wrote: Nice, the sprite already has some style in it :/ But i have no idea what the f- that green thing is xp It's somekind of those green auras. If you know Hellion from x-man. He is using it for telekinesis. RE: Bla bla's sprites - Monolith - 01-04-2012 Good one,i like it is it peace of earth lifted by using telekinetik powers? RE: Bla bla's sprites - Jahvansi - 01-04-2012 nice sprite, correct proportions this time
